Bereavement According to a Co-op Funeral Service survey, sadly 'most Britons will suffer their first loss of a loved one by the time they are 21-years-old'. Death is such a difficult thing for anyone to talk about and it is particularly hard to know exactly how best we can support our youngsters. I have attached some resources here that may be of help: Advice for parents and carers http://www.seesaw.org.uk/Resources/Information-for-parents Books for teenagers about death and grief (Marie Curie) Explaining Bereavement to children with autism (National Autistic Society) http://www.autism.org.uk/about/family-life/bereavement.aspx
