Cherwell Cycling

Cherwell Go Ride acts as a gateway for Cherwell Students to enjoy cycling as a lifetime pursuit and a sport. We encourage students as they progress to join local clubs. Cherwell CC is in partnership with Zappi’s Cycling Club and offers a pathway from playground to podium, with young riders having opportunities to join the Zappi’s Youth team as a route into the women’s team and pro team. Please be advised to get parental support and contact the club before you attend their events – to check they are suitable and that you bring the right equipment along. The club was able to start with financial assistance from Sport England and the PTA.

Bike Oxford 2016

In 2013 and 2014 Cherwell students organised Oxford Bike Fest attended by over 400 people of all ages and abilities. Building on this legacy Iconic Cycling were kind enough to support what Cherwell School was doing and have chosen Cherwell as the location for the last two years to host ‘Bike Oxford’ attended by over 1,000 riders last Summer including many Cherwell students and their families. Iconic Cycling have also sponsored cycling clothing for the Cherwell Students to compete in as well as ride Bike Oxford.
